Clara Bow: The original "IT" girl
The term was coined by English romance novelist and
screenwriter Elinor Glyn to describe actress Clara Bow as she
appeared in the 1927 Hollywood silent film It. Glyn described the
term thus:
"IT" is that quality possessed by some which draws all others with its
magnetic force. With "IT" you win all men if you are a woman—all
women if you are a man. "IT" can be a quality of the mind as well as a
physical attraction.

Self-confidence and indifference whether you are pleasing or not—and
something in you that gives the impression that you are not at all cold.
That's "IT"

I like how Elinor Glyn describes "IT" as a quality of the mind as well as a physical attraction. One way to express oneself
is through appearance. As an artist, I have more of a bohemian style so I love the eclectic and unusual. Also as an
artist, I am drawn to fine workmanship, attention to detail, structure and of course, beauty. Since these qualities
translate easily over to fashion, I admire beautiful attire! Hopefully, this site will help your shopping experience by
displaying what is currently marked down, and a little bit of fashion gossip and info too!
