Giorgio Armani (born 11 July 1934 in Piacenza) is an Italian fashion designer, particularly noted for his menswear. He
is known today for his clean, tailored lines. He formed his company, Armani, in 1975, and by 2001 was acclaimed as
the most successful designer to come out of Italy. Giorgio Armani is often referred to as the father of Italian fashion.

Armani has several collections. I've composed a list from highest to lowest in price point
Armani Prive: Armani's haute couture line and you’re super lucky to wear it! This is the creme de la creme of Armani.
The label is strictly made to wear and only available for purchase in selected stores such as Harrods at a high price.
Giorgio Armani line: This is usually known as the black label. It is the main collection of apparel that consists of the
signature Armani suits, Oscar gowns and so on.
Armani Collezioni: This collection is slightly less expensive than the Giorgio Armani line for those who crave to add
extra products to their existing portfolios. Collezioni is classic, timeless, and it will never go out of style.
Emporio Armani: This collection features more contemporary designs, generally targeted toward the young
professional. The line is considered a "bridge line" as it features higher-end products than Armani Exchange or Armani
Jeans but is not as expensive as the exclusive Armani Collezion.
Armani Jeans: . The Armani Jeans collection is of denim-related clothing created in 1981 by Giorgio Armani. The
collection provides a trendy, fashionable and luxurious line of apparel, primarily targeted to the younger shopper.
A/X Armani Exchange: This is the licensed brand chain of retail outlets of Armani fashion house. Armani Exchange
provides customers with the complete feel of the luxurious fashion of Giorgio Armani. It is geared toward older teens and
young adults with a contemporary fashion style.
